The aim of Lincoln Wheelers is to promote cycling as a social, recreational and competitive activity with a high regard for well-being and safety.

The Club has members of all ages and membership is open to anyone wishing to apply.

The club is affiliated to a number of national cycling organisations:

CTT (Cycling Time Trials),  BC (British Cycling)  and BCCA (British Cyclo Cross Association)                              archive

NOTE because Lincoln Wheelers are affiliated to British Cycling, any club member joining BC for the first time can get a free Race Bronze membership and under-16s can get a free Race Silver membership.

 

The VTTA have voted in a new table of Age Standards (Jan 2012) and 10 and 25 stds can be viewed here. They do contain radical changes. The LRRA are keeping the previous Age Standards for 2013 as an incentive to older riders to take part in LRRA events.

NOTICE BOARD

 

Circuit Training The winter circuit training recommences on Tuesday 14th October at Redwood Drive Community Centre, Waddington. 1 hour long session starting at 5.20 pm. Cost £1:50 This training is for general fitness and aimed to improve flexibility and core strength. After training we go to the Plough on Newark road for a pint and a curry which is an optional extra.
